Author, educator and landscape architect, her passion for both plants and design merge as a floral designer, using all things botanical for a variety of commercial and residential applications. Donald Yim AIFD, CFD, PFCI  With a passion for flowers, a sense of exploration and an eye for beauty, Donald has been in floral design for over 30 years and is currently the Creative Director of West Van Florist in Vancouver, Canada; Education Specialist at Floriology Institute of Jacksonville, Florida; as well as the Design Director at Smithers-Oasis North America of Kent Ohio. Jackie Lacey AAF, AIFD, CFD, PFCI Jackie has over thirty-five years of experience and his portfolio includes an extensive background in the retail floral market, program presentation and floral education. He currently serves as Director of Education and Industry Relations for BloomNet and Floriology. With his passion for all things flowers, Jackie is considered a leader in the industry on a national and international level and a specialist for market trends, current design trends, industry edu- cation and retail marketing. He has held leadership positions in many local, state and national industry associations and non-profit organizations and serves as the current National President of AIFD ® . To create the form, cut off a third of a floral-foam sphere, pin the leaves all around and crisscross and create texture. Then balance the sphere on three stems, and randomly insert flowers.
