Welcome to the 2020 Fall Sports Season of Scecina Memorial High School! In this program, you will find team information, season previews, and photos and bios of our coaches and eight fall sports teams, as well as individual pictures of senior athletes from the Class of 2021. We know this 2020 fall season is unlike any other in memory. We are grateful for all the Crusaders fans who continue to support our teams, even when spectator capacity may be limited and special rules apply for everyone attending the events. Sport participation remains the most popular extra-curricular activity at Scecina. By participating in Crusader sports, students build leadership and teamwork skills. Scecina’s sports programs reinforce self-discipline for the student-athletes by consistently maintaining rules, standards and expectations. Students are encouraged to demonstrate appropriate personal pride in how they conduct and present themselves both at school and in the wider community. Our student-athletes, coaches, and fans are called to model Christ-like values, as we strive to integrate faith with everyday life. We support and promote sportsmanship based on Catholic Christian values. Our athletes and fans are renowned for respect and sportsmanship, in victory and in defeat. We thank the parents who allow our school, teachers and coaches the privilege of helping them guide their children. We appreciate their sacred trust and confidence. In closing, we owe a debt of gratitude to the following people for their help with this sports program: Dennis Shea ‘85 of Printing Partners for his printing services and Bob Raleigh of Tiffany Photography for his generosity in providing photography. Thank you! Enjoy another season of exciting Crusader sports! 1 Joe Therber President David Dellacca Interim Principal Jason Kehrer ‘88 Athletic Director SCECINA MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL The Archdiocesan High School of the Indianapolis East Deanery Rev.
